Making a hole for new windows
This client was doing a complete refurbishment of their house, and amongst other things wanted new sliding sash windows.
Originally they wanted wood, but were more than impressed with a white woodgrain pvc-u alternative.
The windows in one of the rooms at the back were not their in the original, so along with our builder, we knocked out a hole in the wall and then put in new brickwork before installing our white woodgrain pvc-u sliding sash windows.
See images 1 & 2.
The result is that we were able to retain the traditional look with all the beefits of our double glazed white pvc-u sliding sash, including acoustic glass in the front windows to cut down noise even further.
